Rapid Prototyping

Rapid Prototyping

The key to effective rapid product development is the effective application of rapid prototyping and manufacturing technologies. Rapid prototyping is a manufacturing technique where materials are added and bonded together in layers to form objects. Through rapid prototyping, an object or project of any geometric complexity or intricacy can be developed quickly and inexpensively.

Rapid Perfection

Phoenix DeVentures has implemented and perfected rapid prototyping systems, and have reduce the construction of complex objects to a manageable, straightforward, and relatively fast process, allowing companies to bring products to market faster and at lower cost than the competition.

FDM

Fused Deposition Modeling, or FDM, is a type of rapid prototyping or manufacturing. Using a layered manufacturing method, FDM is the layering of thin sheets of plastic. An extrusion head is used to feed a thread of plastic through, where it is heated then extruded onto the previous layer of material. Because high strength ABS plastic, it is ideal for conceptual models and functional testing prototypes.
